The Komati Cheruvu is in the outstucks of Siddipet, at a distance of 100kms from Hyderabad. Initially, it was a lake that people used to visit on weekends. They wonderfully developed it in recent years with quite attractive suspension bridges, parks, hotels, boar ridges, and many more. After Telangana state formation, the local MLA and cm KCR took up a plan to develop this as a tourist place.

2. Wargal Saraswathi Temple (One-day trip near Hyderabad with families within 70kms)
Wargal Saraswathi is a Hindu temple in the Siddipet district, Telangana. The deity of education in Hinduism is Goddess Saraswathi. Kanchi Shanker Mutt maintained it. This temple was a brainchild of Yay avaram Chandrashekar Sharma, scholar ed follower of Goddess Saraswathi. Many families visit this temple for their children’s Akshara Abyasam. They provided meals for free for all the devotees at the temple premises called Nitya Annadanam. They also celebrated religious festivals in the temple.

Ranganayak Sagar is one of the beautiful tourist places near Hyderabad. It is one of the linked reservoirs of the Kaleshwaram project. The availability of water throughout the year and vast green fields attracts many visitors, especially during weekends. The Ranganayaka Sagar level was built at 490 meters from sea level. It means the water is being lifted 93 meters as it travels from a 20-km distance from Ananthagiri to Chandlapur. Apart from Ranganayak Sagar, several barrages, pump houses, canals, and reservoirs in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project are set to become major tourist attractions and will help strengthen the rural economy of Telangana.
